In 1985, West Quincy Auto Auction opened its doors in Taylor, Missouri; located in the heart of the Midwest, next to the Mighty Mississippi River.
In 1993 the Mighty Mississippi River almost completely covered the two-story office building, disrupting business for several months. There have been a handful of owners since 1985.
January 4th 2017 David Allen purchased West Quincy Auto Auction from Virgil Lackey. David has been the manager since 2000. He has been an auctioneer since 1976 and involved in the car business all of his adult life. Honesty, integrity and hard work will still continue at West Quincy Auto Auction.
