My interest in physical therapy began in high school after receiving treatment for a dislocated elbow sustained during gymnastics. I was fascinated by the process and inspired to help others navigate recovery and regain function.I enjoy guiding patients through injuries or diagnoses to help them become as functional as possible. I specialize in treating orthopedic conditions and am also a certified lymphedema therapist. Because lymphedema is not widely understood and few therapists in the area treat it, I often educate patients on their diagnosis and care options. Over the years, I’ve learned how valuable our time with patients can be — many express appreciation for finally understanding their condition and feeling empowered to reach their goals.Outside of work, I teach Pilates four times a week at the local VFW, which helps me stay strong and relaxed. I also enjoy spending time with my family, sharing good food and caring for our three dogs and chickens — with plans to add goats next spring.
