Dr. Bernardo Malaga is a dedicated physician with over 25 years of experience in general medicine. He earned his education at the Universidad Interamericana de Puerto Rico and the Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara, and completed his residency at Hospital Southern Medical Center. Dr. Malaga was drawn to medicine because it allows him to truly listen, understand patients as whole individuals, and make a meaningful difference through knowledge and compassion. He values the opportunity to combine strong clinical expertise with empathy to improve outcomes and enhance quality of life. With a focus on high-quality, preventive, and value-based care, Dr. Malaga emphasizes trust, continuity, and patient education.
