The Psychiatric Institute of Washington (PIW), located in Washington, D.C., offers inpatient programs to adolescents (ages 10-17) who suffer from developmental and/or psychiatric illness. We also offer inpatient programs for adults (ages 18 and older) dealing with mental health crisis and substance abuse issues. Both inpatient and outpatient services are available for post-traumatic stress disorders, including sexual trauma.
