About

Bethel Shiferaw MD MPH attained her doctorate degree in medicine from Addis Ababa University in Ethiopia where she was practicing as a physician and university lecturer. She received her master of public health at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in Baltimore. She completed her internal medicine residency training at Nassau University Medical Center in New York and infectious disease fellowship training at Yale School of Medicine. Dr. Shiferaw is board certified in internal medicine. She is interested in teaching and working with medical students and residents. She is married and has a daughter.
