Family medicine is such a unique specialty; it allows me to see patients of all ages and offer a continuity of care across life's stages. I am fortunate to get to grow right along with my patients. And, seeing multiple generations of the same family is another privilege. When I care for everyone from grandchildren to grandparents, I feel honored to become a trusted part of their family. \n I also enjoy family medicine because it allows me to do more than care for acute needs. I can also focus on preventive aspects of primary care, providing ways to lead a healthier life and stop health problems from developing. I believe that a great doctor-patient relationship should be the cornerstone for patient care. If I listen to my patients and communicate well, my hope is that they will feel comfortable discussing and implementing a treatment plan or preventive care alongside me. The goal is always to keep them as healthy as possible throughout life. \n When I am not at work, you can typically find me spending time with my husband and our two children. We love traveling and going to the beach together. I also enjoy watching tennis and am working hard to learn how to play. I am practicing hitting forehand and backhand, both of which are still works in progress!
