Prior to becoming a medical doctor, Dr. Findley-Smith received Teaching Certification from The Ohio State University and taught high school biology. Shewent to Wright State University School of Medicine where she earned her medical degree in 1991. She completed her internship and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Aultman Hospital/Northeastern Ohio University College of Medicine in 1996, as well as a one-year Internal Medicine internship. Dr. Findley-Smith is a member of the American Medical Association, National Medical Association, American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, Texas Medical Association, Harris County Medical Society and Houston Gynecological and Obstetrical Society. When she's not caring for patients, Dr. Findley-Smith enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons, reading, scrapbooking, exercising and yoga. Dr. Findley-Smith was the delivering doctor on MTV's Sixteen and Pregnant (Allie and Joey - 2011).
