Dr. Schneider chose obstetrics and gynecology because of the opportunity to build lasting relationships with patients while caring for them through some of life's most meaningful milestones. He enjoys the specialty's unique blend of primary care, surgery, and obstetrics and finds it especially rewarding to help families grow while improving women's health. His patient care philosophy centers on providing patients with the knowledge and guidance they need to make informed decisions, ensuring they feel supported every step of the way.
An Iowa native, Dr. Schneider earned his medical degree from the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine before completing his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Mercy Hospital St. Louis. Throughout his training, he remained active in research focused on women's health, quality improvement, and patient outcomes. Prior to medical school, he graduated summa cum laude from South Dakota State University, where he was a four-year letter winner on the baseball team.
