Valmont Auto Sales began in 2002, after Jerry Barkanic and Joe Zarowsky, two locals of Hazleton, decided to go into the used car business together. They began their business at a small lot near the outskirts of Hazleton. Once they began to make a name for themselves, they made a strategic move to their current location which is located on route 93 at 34 Susquehanna Blvd Rt 93 in West Hazleton.
