Dr. Baker is a board-certified family medicine physician serving patients at Intermountain Health’s West Jordan Clinic since 2014. She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Medical School in 2003. She completed her Family Medicine Residency at McKay-Dee Hospital and was Chief Resident while serving there. She has worked as an InstaCare physician at the Intermountain Layton Clinic. Prior to practicing at the West Jordan Clinic, she spent seven years in Fort Worth, Texas, and was a partner with USMD, a large physician-owned medical group. While with USMD, she was a regional physician leader.
Since working in Utah, Dr Baker has helped Intermountain with Electronic Medical Record implementations and served as a Physician Advocate. She Co-Chaired the South Salt Lake region's Population Health Committee for two years. She has served as a Geographic Medical Director for Intermountain and also currently serves on Intermountain’s Canyon Region Medical Group Board.
In addition to seeing patients two and a half days a week at the West Jordan Clinic now, she is a Medical Director for Clinical Operations at Castell, Intermountain’s Population Health Division. In this role, she actively works to incorporate value-based practices into clinical settings across Intermountain’s footprint.
Dr. Baker is married and has two children. Her husband is a F-35 Pilot with the US Air Force Reserves at Hill Air Force Base. Her children currently attend Judge Memorial Catholic High School in Salt Lake City. She enjoys hiking, skiing, and traveling abroad with her family whenever she gets the chance.
