Victor M. Duarte, MD, is a fellowship-trained otolaryngology–head and neck surgeon who specializes in pediatric otolaryngology. He has a special clinical interest in airway, sinonasal, and sleep disorders in children. He collaborates with services to care for patients with aerodigestive and speech problems. Dr. Duarte has presented on various topics in his field and published work in a variety of peer-reviewed medical publications. He looks forward to teaching and mentoring the next generations of head and neck surgeons at UCLA.
After completing his undergraduate studies at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), Dr. Duarte received his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C. He completed his internship in general surgery and his residency in otolaryngology–head and neck surgery at the UCLA Medical Center. He went on to complete a fellowship in pediatric otolaryngology at Boston Children’s Hospital/Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts.
Dr. Duarte is board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology and is a member of the American Society of Pediatric Otolaryngology. He is fluent in Spanish.
