My background in genetics, biotechnology, laboratory research, and advocacy led me to a career in genetic counseling. I take a patient-centered approach, working closely with individuals to help them decide whether genetic testing is right for them and, if they choose to move forward, what their results may mean for their future cancer risks and screening options, as well as what their results mean for their family members. While I’ve worked across both clinical and non-clinical areas of healthcare, my specialty is hereditary cancer genetics. I’m passionate about making genetic information feel clear and manageable—not overwhelming—so you can feel informed and confident in your decisions and results. Outside of work, I enjoy exploring the Triangle with my pup, traveling, and staying active with a number of hobbies.
