Letting go of the past can be challenging. Your emotions can stop you from being able to think straight and live your life in a happy and peaceful way. You may feel obsessed with the past and although you try to stop the constant tape loop of the things that have happened, they keep haunting you.
I've been through this process many times and one day I decided to create a map out of the darkness for myself, so that if and when it happened again I would be armed with the resources to come back to myself and to self love again, but also for others, so that anyone who was going through the pain and suffering of being attached to the past could benefit.
I wrote a book called Moving on and Letting Go: A Guide to Loving Yourself for everyone who has ever had trouble with letting go of the past. It is a step by step process that will bring you to a state of calm and peace, even if you are in total emotional chaos.
