Dr. Sabina Bera completed her psychiatry training at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital, where she also served as Chief Outpatient Resident in her final year. She also trained at UCLA-Kern in California before being awarded the Jeanne Spurlock Congressional Fellowship, where she served as a health policy fellow on the United States Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions. As training physician, Dr. Bera was selected to work onthe ABC News Medical Unit as a medical expert. She is passionate about empowering people with knowledge to make well-informed decisions about their health. She holds a M.D. degree from St. George’s University and a M.S. degree in physiology from San Francisco State University. She completed her undergraduate degrees at the University of California, Berkeley in Molecular and Cellular Biology and Religious Studies.
