About

Timeshare ownership can be a wonderful part of many families lives. Unfortunately, it can also be what seems like a dragging anchor on others. With over 30 years experience in the Timeshare Industry, Colonial Research and Consulting is dedicated to helping families ease the stress of dealing with Timeshare Developers that are unwilling to give them options after their ownership purchase. Our Consultants and network of Attorneys have the knowledge and experience to get you the results and support you’ve been looking for. Your representative may have been very helpful and knowledgeable. You were probably assured that they would be there at any time if you need them, only to find out that when you needed them they were nowhere to be found and nearly impossible to reach. We guarantee it. After you have consulted with CRC, you will need to sign the Service Agreement giving us power of attorney to retain legal services on your behalf. You will also complete the new client questionnaire. Once payment is made, CRC will forward your documents to the appropriate attorney for your case.

Within the first week your attorney will send a letter of attorney representation with a cease and desist order to your timeshare developer. This will notify the timeshare developer that you are represented by an attorney, and instruct them to communicate directly with your attorney. They are not allowed to call you for any reason.

Within two weeks, your attorney will send letters to all three credit bureaus notifying them you are represented by a law firm. They will dispute the timeshare on your credit report, and instruct them not to allow any negative reporting from the timeshare developer based on the laws regulating fraudulent reporting in accordance with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, and the Fair Credit Reporting Act.

Here are some of the most common misrepresentations of Vacation/Timeshare Ownership:

* Renting Your Timeshares to Offset Fees
* Buy Back Program
* Maintenance Fees are Increasing
* Equity Trade
* Today Only Options
* Lowering Your Interest Rate
* Personal Representative
* Financial Investment
