The process is simple. People send their medical record from their doctor within the last 12 months, then schedule a two-hour statewide virtual or in-person appointment at the clinic. If necessary, the staff here helps them attain their records. A big portion of the appointment is devoted to education, where people learn about the different modalities and how cannabis works within the body. Then if they qualify, they register people supplying a paper and laminated Ohio Medical Marijuana Card that’s good for one year, as well as a list of the state-licensed dispensaries in Ohio.
