Why people do what they do and what drives them has always interested me. That, combined with a caring nature and interest in helping others, led me into healthcare. \n I have been working in the mental health field since 1996. My passion is working with children and adolescents using mind and body modalities. I am a registered yoga teacher trained in mental health-based yoga. I am skilled at using art, play and movement - as well as talk therapy - to help patients reach their goals. I love to have fun and laugh, so I often use humor to connect with patients. My office is filled with games, toys and art supplies, which I use to help patients on their healing journeys. \n I have two cats who are spoiled. My husband and I enjoy hiking and attending concerts. I love reading, crafting, baking and gardening. Baseball is my favorite sport, so I try to get to at least a few Winston-Salem Dash games every season.
