Michelle Bandurka, MSN, FNP-C, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner dedicated to helping patients maintain their health, wellness, and overall quality of life. She completed her undergraduate studies at Kent State University and later pursued her master’s at Malone University. Michelle began her healthcare career as a nursing assistant while still in high school and college, and those early experiences shaped her passion for patient-centered care. She believes that treating people with dignity and respect is essential. For Michelle, building strong relationships is key. She takes time to get to know her patients, asking about their families and life experiences, and even sharing her own hobbies as a way to connect. She also understands that not every patient feels comfortable with preventive care. By asking questions and listening, Michelle works with each patient to find screenings and treatments that fit their needs and beliefs, ensuring care is personalized and effective. In her free time, she enjoys riding roller coasters, cooking, and running. An active volunteer with runDisney, she serves in the medical tent on race weekends—when she’s not out running herself.
