Thomas M. Hearty, MD, DPT, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon, specializing in foot and ankle and sports medicine. Additionally, Dr. Hearty received his Doctor of Physical Therapy from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. After completion of his orthopaedic residency, he completed a fellowship in orthopaedic foot and ankle surgery. Prior to joining Trinity Health IHA Medical Group, he served as a commander in the U.S. Navy and was an orthopedic surgeon and associate professor at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.
