Containered are specialist shipping container home builders, offering energy efficient, environmentally friendly, architecturally designed homes.
We settled on utilising ‘single-use’ high cube shipping containers due to the ease of transport, known history (we didn’t want to build homes out of materials that we had no knowledge of what they had come into contact with) and availability. The build took place offsite in eight weeks and the 95% finished container home was then transported on two semi trailers to its new home with two weeks spent onsite commissioning the final product.
