Wagga Wagga Ballet Academy was established in 1997 by Leanne Nicol to provide quality ballet and dance tuition to the budding stars of tomorrow. This Academy is dedicated to developing the individual talents of every student, whether vocational or recreational providing tuition in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary, Hip Hop and Acro for dance. Performances are staged at various local events to provide theatrical and stage experience.
Formal Assessments
For those who wish to participate, Australian Institute of Classical Dance exams and assessments are conducted annually, as are Glenn Wood Tap exams.
Annual Performance
Students have the opportunity to perform in various local events throughout the year in addition to our own annual performance at the Wagga Civic Theatre for which costumes are provided at a reasonable hire rate.
