The EURASIA Institute was founded in 1993 by Andrew Geddes with a vision of developing an international platform for academic and intercultural exchange. Since 1999 the Institute has become a renowned global player on the international education market and works with some of the top universities in the world.
In 2012, the EURASIA Institute entered into a joint venture with the The Klett Group in Stuttgart. With its 56 companies at 34 locations in 14 countries, the Klett Group is one of the leading education-dedicated enterprises in Europe. The companies of the Klett Group employ a workforce of about 2,879 and generated revenues of EUR 459.9 million in 2014. The content of the co-operation is the continuous expansion and development of EURASIA's activities in preparing young academics from abroad for university studies in Germany.
