The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) is the governing body covering both public and private higher education institutions as well as degree-granting programs in all tertiary educational institutions in the Philippines. The CHED was established in May 18, 1994 through Republic Act No. 7722 or the Higher Education Act of 1994. The creation of CHED was part of a broad agenda for reforms in the country's education system, outlined by the Congressional Commission on Education (EDCOM) in 1992. June 1, 2013 To Whom It May Concern: Dear Madam/Sir, As a student of Holy Cross College of Calinan, I am truly abiding with its rules and regulations as the said institution has the intention to produce effective professionals in their respective fields. I Sheila Mae A. Malot a BSED IV student major in Biological Science wants to address a concern about my units that needed to earn as a fourth year student, it was now said by our respective Dean of College Mrs. Rolita B. Arguilla that I should enroll for the 1st semester with 30 units only, but in my situation, I have exceeded 5 units in my records making it 35 units for the 1st semester for me to graduate this school year and a maximum of 12 units only for the 2nd semester and so I intentionally enrolled last May 28, 2013 with 35 units for the 1st semester, and 12 units for the 2nd semester for me to graduate hopefully, but sad to say, as my subjects are validated our Dean together with the registrar told me that it will not be made p
