More than 20 years ago, Dean Merlo began roasting coffee here at the first Merlo Coffee Torrefazione and lsquo;roasting houseand rsquo; on James Street in Brisbanersquo;s Fortitude Valley. This roaster and cafeacute; has since become the spiritual home of Merlo and has been fully renovated with a brand new open-plan cafe next to the storersquo;s original artisanal roaster. Italian for 'Roasting House' our Torrefazione features an in-store roaster and is where we roast our much-loved coffee beans.
