Active Sports and Spinal Physiotherapy started their journey as the Active Sports Injury Clinic, initially a small Remedial Massage practice at the Lilydale Squash and Fitness Centre in 1993. It was taken over by Principal physiotherapist, Ravi de Soysa, in early 1996. The practice grew over time but had little space to expand at its premises. Active Sports Injury Clinic was invited to join the new Lilydale Medical Centre as an inaugural business associate in 2004. When the centre opened in September 2005, the practice was named Active Sports and Spinal Physiotherapy to better reflect the service we offer to the community.
