Twister River Wines is nestled on the edge of the Goobang remnant forest near Manildra in the Central Ranges of NSW. It is here that the coastal fauna and flora meet their western cousins.
This regional diversity separates Twisted River from its Orange neighbours. While the cool nights and high elevation ensure a long ripening period the warmer days lift the fruit flavours.
Owners Michelle Davies and Helen Armstrong produce five varieties from their 5.6 hectares. These comprise Shiraz, Viognier, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay and Merlot. The brand was developed in 2010. A careful hands-on approach to vineyard management ensures continuous production of quality fruit and wines. Which has resulted in a number of award winning wines for Twisted River.
