Hunter & Barrel is one of the latest and most exciting restaurants in the new heart of Parramatta’s CBD. Our George Street restaurant location opened in June 2023 and is ideally positioned with direct ferry access and key attractions bordering the precinct.

The new Meriton suites complex on George St, Parramatta brings together the best of dining and living. The new home of Hunter & Barrel, offering a unique dining experience – the Hunter’s way. Modern in design, but inspired by the raw elements of nature, our freshly opened venue oozes sophistication and welcomes you in with the sounds of a crackling fire and the smells of mouth-watering, sizzling fare.

With the Summer season steadily approaching, the Hunter has curated a special selection of seasonal dishes to brighten your souls and delight your senses. Start your feast with our refreshing wood-fired zucchini sourdough, wild-caught miso king prawns or our beef rib tacos. Then explore our mains offerings, including our wagyu beef burger, wood-fired vegetable salad, fire-grilled steaks and eight hour ribs. Gathering your tribe to dine? Discover our Hunter’s Tomahawk including a 1.1kg Black Diamond Tomahawk, charred corn, truffle potatoes, Brussels sprouts, and choice of crispy chips or mixed leaf salad and sauce. Don’t forget to compliment your feast with our delicious selection of sides featuring our crispy double cooked truffle potatoes and creamy mac & cheese. Wanting something to finish? Try our iconic chocolate s’more, basque cheesecake or apple cronut.

Come in to enjoy our power lunch menu from $35pp Monday to Friday 12-4pm with a sizzling selection of entrees, mains and desserts. With all 3 courses at just $48pp you could enjoy our delicious new summer menu items including crispy chicken wings, Humpty Doo Saltwater Barramundi and mango & raspberry sorbet.

Introducing our latest SKEWERED seasonal flavours: the Harissa Kangaroo Skewer and the Dry Aged Striploin Skewer! The kangaroo skewer is marinated in yoghurt & harissa, served with chermoula sauce, pickled baby onions and capsicum, while the dry aged striploin skewer features O’Connor Angus striploin, dry aged for 28 days, finished with signature basting. Both skewers are then cooked over open charcoal and served with your choice of crispy chips or salad.
