The open environment of Symes Thorpe has a number of smaller houses that are grouped into three areas of support, with a communal lounge and dining room in each. You'll also have access to meeting rooms and al fresco areas to entertain your guests and enjoy outdoor activities. Coordinated social outings include golf games, tai chi, bus trips, bingo and happy hour, all of which you are encouraged to join in, but there's no pressure. You can be as private or as outgoing as you wish.
A number of health professionals regularly visit, including a physiotherapist, podiatrist, dentist, audiologist, speech therapist and dietician. A hairdresser is onsite weekly and available by appointment.
Maintaining the leisure and lifestyle interests of residents is all part of the program. We take a collaborative approach, inviting feedback and discussions on what types of activities you prefer.
