Today I am going to review a very long cigar, respectively the Ramon Allones Gigantes cigar. This stick was hand crafted in the prestigious factory Partagas, which belongs to the Ciufuntes family. Vuelta Abajo region had supplied with highly qualitative tobacco leaves for creating these cigars. The result was obviously, an exceptional one. Appearance & Construction This cigar is undeniable a very imposing one. Its length and its thickness are rarely met at Cuban cigars. However, as you would expect from such long cigar, it is a bit difficult to gold into the hand as it weights a bit. In rest, it has an outstanding aspect. It has a brown color, plenty of oiliness and some veins on its surface. The construction of the Ramon Allones Gigantes is remarkably well done. These sticks were perfectly hand crafted. I haven’t noticed any issue at them. The ignition went fast, without me making visible efforts. The draw was perfect and in no time I was surrounded by a lot of velvety and white smoke. Taste It was a very intense and rich cigar. The strength was a medium one, and I was not overpowered by it. In the first third of the vitola I’ve felt intense notes of herbs, floral and nuts. The second third of the cigar is bitter- sweet. You will find there notes of coffee, vanilla and coffee. The final third is as well highly complex and you will have part of a very long and delicious finish, especially if you pair the cigar with some great beverage. During the whole smoke you will be accompanied by that excellent tobacco harvested in Vuelta Abajo. Value The Ramon Allones Gigantes cigars are cash worthy. I warmly recommend them.
