Mount Carmel Catholic College was founded in 1985 in the Marist Tradition. Our goal is to be a Christ-centred community that provides opportunities for excellence. Our students receive a well-rounded education which caters for their academic, spiritual, sporting and cultural talents. With a student population of over 1120, the College is able to offer a wide variety of elective subjects whilst maintaining a personal connection.
Located in a rural setting attached to the Carmelite monastery, the College maintains links to the Carmelite friars and to the local parish of Our Lady of Mount Carmel. The College provides a wholistic Catholic education for students of the surrounding parishes including; Campbelltown, Ruse, Eagle Vale, Ingleburn, Macquarie Fields, Emerald Hills and Gregory Hills.
Mount Carmel has a tradition of academic excellence with notable achievements in recent HSC courses including top 3 positions in the state and large numbers of 'all-rounders' and ATARs over 90.
