Windreiter has produced airships and flying robots for use in remote-sensing, aerial montoring, herd-tracking, industrial inspection and racing.
It is thought that the Windreiter team are likely the first in the world to succesfully fly an airship underground, when in 2022 they conducted test-flights in collaboration with scientists in a detector cavern of the Large Hadron Collider at CERN.
