Im Jahr 1990 gründete Gabriele Günther ihr Unternehmen, in welchem traditionelle Erzeugnisse der Erzgebirgischen Volkskunst hergestellt wurden.Bereits seit 1979 fertigte sie gemeinsam mit ihrem Ehemann Detlef Günther nebenberuflich Weihnachtspyramiden und Schwibbögen in einer kleinen Werkstatt. Im Laufe der Zeit hat sich die Werkstatt natürlich vergrößert und ist zu einem stattlichen Gebäudeareal herangewachsen. Aus dem anfänglichen 2Mann-Betrieb hat sich eine Mitarbeiterschaft von 12 fleißigen Angestellten entwickelt.
Frank Günther, gelernter Holzspielzeugmacher und Gestalter im Handwerk, arbeitet bereits in der zweiten Generation in der Manufaktur mit. Er hat mit seinen Ideen und einer völlig neuen Produktlinie dazu beigetragen, dass die altehrwürdige Tradition der Erzgebirgischen Volkskunst mit einem neuen Erscheinungsbild sich einen Weg in die Zukunft gebahnt hat.
