Einzigartig. Anders eben. Was macht unser Haus so besonders? Liebe, Herzblut, Leidenschaft und Tradition. Spürbar im ganzen Haus. Das ist das, was wir dir und all unseren Gästen, als neue Gastgeber in der Alten Säge vermitteln möchten.Aber die Alte Säge blickt auch auf eine langjährige Tradition zurück. Bereits im Jahr 1920 wurde das Gebäude in der Miesenbacher Straße als Gastwirtschaft "Jagdhof" eröffnet und von 1998 an erstmals mit fünf Gästezimmern als Gasthof "Zur Alten Säge" bewirtschaftet. Seit 2013 wurde das Gebäude dann als Hotel-Gasthof „Alte Säge“, nunmehr mit neun Gästezimmern und einer Gaststätte mit ca. 45 Sitzplätzen sowie dem attraktiven Salettl - einem halboffenen Pavillon innerhalb des Bier- und Sommergartens - betrieben.
Seit Juli 2018 sind wir - Steffi Wehr und Harry Häußer - die neuen und stolzen Besitzer der Alten Säge. Aktuell bieten wir 11 Zimmer in unterschiedlichen Kategorien und Größen als Hotel-Garni - also Übernachtung mit Frühstück - an.
Wir haben aber noch einiges vor. Im Sommer 2019 eröffnen wir unseren schönen Sommergarten wieder neu und bieten sowohl unseren Hotelgästen wie auch auswärtigen Gästen eine kleine Karte mit regionalen, frisch zubereiteten Speisen und Getränke an. Mittelfristig werden wir auch wieder Halbpension unseren Gästen anbieten. Und wenn alles gut läuft, könnte daraus dann vielleicht auch so wie früher, ein zünftiger und gemütlicher Gasthof werden. Selbstverständlich mit besten, regionalen und frischen Produkten.
