WALL-TO-WALL CARPET CLEANING ON LOCATION
A-1 Carpet Co. SHAMPOOMAN carpet cleaning will not only improve the look of your environment and indoor air quality, but it will extend the life of your wall-to-wall carpet. As we SHAMPOOMAN have the technics of oriental rug cleaning, we can cope with every aspect and difficulty of wall-to-wall carpet cleaning when / if it faced. Oriental rug cleaning requires much more technics, than wall-to-wall carpet cleaning. Our van will come to your home with a team of ordinarily two SHAMPOOMAN who will take care everything. Each of our SHAMPOOMAN have high level expertise and use only state of the art equipment and detergents of Japanese and American made.
There are four steps for wall-to-wall carpet maintenance
1.?Vacuum very carefully on regular base
2. Blot out stains immediately, never scrubbed or rubbed( research by independent agencies has stated that up to 90% of the spots and stains from liquid sp ills can be prevented if cleaned immediately )
3.Move the area rugs placed and rearrange the furniture so that all parts of the wall-to-wall carpeting will have equal exposure. Moreover, some furniture bottom plate will generate gas that will cause the yellowing of carpet surface
4. Clean professionally ( every 1 to 3 years depending on traffic volume, and in case preventing allergies and asthma, wash every 3 to 6 months )

You can trust your Persian, Chinese oriental / area rugs to A-1 Carpet Co. SHAMPOOMAN. We SHAMPOOMAN understand the value a fine rug can represent. With a lifetime?if it has dyed fairly and hand-knotted or machine-knotted or woven properly with no glued, in many cases, say, up to 100?150 years, these rugs can be much more than a household furnishing, they can be an investment. And they have often been inherited from parents or grandparents.
For more information, if your rug's underside is covered by fabric, this rug is hand-tufted or machine-tufted made. This rug is actually like a triple-decker sandwich. The topmost layer is the face yarn which is held in place because it is tufted or sewn into the middle layer, but only like this condition the yarn can fall out or coming out easily. So the middle layer and the yarn sticking out of it are glued together by a thin layer of latex, a type of rubber cement. This glued face is ugly surface, so it is covered by third layer of fabric.
This third fabric, for covering everything that maker often use fine fabric or jute cloth, sometimes looks fine and nice, so you think this covered rug maybe good one, but we professionals know that this rug is not so good with a lifetime of up to 20 years, compared with yarn-knotted and no glued type one. Because like most other rubber articles, latex will deteriorate with age. It becomes brittle and crumbly, and loses the ability to hold the yarn and middle layer firmly together. Heavy traffic?heat, as well as spills of various sorts, can also cause embrittlement and eventual weakening of the latex. We do not wash this underside fabric. If we wash it, the deteriorated all those covered inside will seep on the fabric. About jute cloth, without deteriorated glue, only a little water make a stain on the cloth caused by its ingredient lignin.

4. Clean professionally ( every 1 to 3 years depending on traffic volume, and in case preventing allergies and asthma, wash every 3 to 6 months )
