Seit ca. 2000 ist Roderick O. Pischl fasziniert von selbstgebauten Musikinstrumenten, die anfangs noch einfache Holzboxen für Wein mit Axtstielen waren.Heute jedoch baut er erstklassige Musikinstrumente, zu denen hauptsächlich Monochord, KoTaMo und BodyTAMpure© zählen, aber auch phantastische Gitarrenraritäten.
Das Handwerk erlernte er auf autodidaktischen Wegen, „learning by doing“ lautet sein Lebensmotto.
Und so kommt es, dass Roderick in seiner kleinen, aber sehr gut ausgestatteten Werkstatt in
Telfs/ Tirol einzigartige Gitarrenkreationen produziert. Dabei legt er Wert darauf, dass fast alles von ihm selbst handgemacht ist, sogar die Mechaniken und die Brücken.
Auch Reparaturen aller Art kann man in seiner Werkstatt machen lassen.
Ebenso beschäftigt Roderick sich mit der Forschung und Entwicklung neuer Musikinstrumente.
Schließlich sollte man erwähnen, dass er auch Instrumenten-Bau-Workshops und entspannende Klangreisen anbietet.
Außerdem bietet Roderick erstklassige Klangschalen direkt aus dem Himalaya an!
