St. Joseph?s School, an institution situated at the heart of Las Pi?as, was founded by Belgian priests in 1914. Years ago, Fr. Jose van Runenkelen and Fr. Victor Zaiel, both CICM missionaries from Belgium conceived of establishing a school in Las Pi?as, the primary objective of which was to foster literacy in the parish community. It started initially with Grades 1 and 2; and in 1906, the first group of primary pupils graduated.
