i just got home, and was almost killed. me and my friend (cola sotto) had a little time at malate and decided to have our meal there, we are actually planning to eat somewhere like shakey's but because of limited budget we tend to go straight at #jollibee #malate and this what exactly what happened. .. cola and i ordered the following meals, cola: burger, fries and coffee float, me: macaroni soup, spaghetti and coke float, i used my happy plus card to avail our orders, but i haven't had limited balance at that particular moment on my card, so i just added 300pesos to top up within the card so atleast i will be able to avail the points of the card as well as our orders. 1st , my order wasn't given right, instead of coke float , i received the same drink of my friend which was said to be coffee float , but that instance is forgivable. and there was this counter girl / service crew whose name was rhiza who inevitably caught my attention for her not-so-good approach and stare at me & cola, which we tend to ignore. but when we are starting to have the food , i unexpectedly feel that something stuck inside my throat for about 10 seconds or less, the first thought that came into my mind might be it was just a piece of ice, but as i emptied my coffee float, and even my friend's drink ( cola) i can still feel the presence of that "something " on my throat , and i even came to the point that i really can't breathe and my eyes seems to turn into black which jives into the fast pump of my heart beat. i was so scared to death , and i just jumped around 5 times because i really can't breathe and i even saw the guard of the #jollibee who seems to be wondering what i was doing and why am i jumping .. i can't even feel my self that moment and i dropped a tear unconsciously and remembered my mama said, that intance can cause death , and i just ran to the washing area and try to put my two finger inside my throat and so i vomit, and saw what was that "something" inside my throat, unfortunately, it was a piece of plastic , seems to be the package of the sauce which approximately around one - two inches wide, and probably one inch long. i talked to the manager "mr. choi" and they immediately replace my spaghetti , but i refused to accept it, scared that it might happen to me again. and so i also talk to the server crew "rhiza" that, as a server, it's her responsibility to make sure that the food they serve is safe and won't cause any trouble to the consumers. i was really angry but i managed my self to act in a proper way. the said crew keep on saying sorry, and i accepted that, but i haven't seen her sincerity with that serious scenario after she smirk when we are about to go, smiling (almost laughing) na para bang hindi seryoso yung nangyari, and seems na it was intentionally. but i just let it go, because i don't to stress my self anymore. i am really disappointed with the #jollibee #malate branch. nakaaksidente na nga, well they /she should act properly then. gusto ko kayong ireklamo, nababaitan lang tlga ako sa manager nyo. pero gusto kong mag reklamo. gusto ko kayong sampahan ng kaso.because to tell you honestly, i'm not satisfied with the given action to the girl whom supposed to be the responsible of what happened. im sorry ### republic act no. 10611 president benigno aquino has signed into law a bill aimed at protecting consumers from trade malpractices and substandard or hazardous products. the chief executive signed on aug. 23 republic act no. 10611 otherwise known as the “food safety act of 2013. the act, which is a consolidation of senate bill no. 3311 and house bill no. 6474, was finally passed by the senate and the house of representatives on june 5, 2013. the food safety act of 2013 lays down a comprehensive framework that sets the benchmark for food safety in various stages from the harvest to the manufacture, processing, handling, packaging, distribution, marketing, food preparation until its consumption. to strengthen the food safety regulatory system in the country, the state is adopting measures to protect the public from food-borne and water-borne illnesses and unsanitary, unwholesome, misbranded or adulterated foods.sec. 38. penalty. – any person who shall violate any provision of this act shall suffer the penalties provided hereunder: (a) for the first conviction, a fine of not less than fifty thousand pesos (p50,000.00) but not more than one hundred thousand pesos (p100,000.00) and suspension of appropriate authorization for one (1) month shall be imposed;
