What does an English Writing Tutor do?
Our English Writing Tutors shape students into effective, critical writers by reading high school and college level essays, offering comments and suggestions towards appropriate revisions, and teaching writing techniques that students can use for future writing. Unlike other tutoring services, we do not deal with the students face to face; we give feedback in written form. To ensure that our tutors are prepared to give quality tutorials, our tutors undergo a 15-day paid training. The position is offered on a full time basis in an office space conducive to productivity.
What are the perks of working as an English Writing Tutor?
Our tutors are able to manage their own income due to output-based compensation. Our tutors can easily earn Php 16,500/month to as high as Php 30,000++ per month because of the added weekly performance-based bonus incentives.
Semi-flexible time and choice to work on either morning, afternoon or night shifts.
What are the requirements to become an English Writing Tutor?
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, any field. An aspiring English Writing Tutor must be willing to work on a full-time, office-based environment. The applicant should possess a bachelor’s/college degree in any 4-year course. Fresh graduates are very much welcome to apply. While not required, applicants with any of the following qualifications will have an advantage: A degree in a writing-intensive field such as but not limited to Education, Literature, and Communication Experience in ESL or college-level teaching in developmental and first-year English composition courses
The applicant must have a strong command of the English grammar and composition
The applicant must be able to think critically, manage time effectively, and show commitment to work, self-discipline, and strong work ethics.
The applicant must be proficient in using the computer, relevant applications, and online research.
Applicants must be willing to work in Eastwood City Cyberpark, Quezon City.
