We are proud to be the distributor of
Eglo, products in Zimbabwe. Eglo, an Austrian company with 50 branches across
the globe and produces 23 million light fittings a year. In-house designers
produce 700 new light fittings a year taking into account new trends,
environmental compatibility and quality of material making Eglo into the
quality product we see today. Eglo fittings adhere to ISO 9000 , EN 60598 and
RoHS, (Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive). RoHS was adopted in February
2003 by the European Union. This directive restricts the use of six hazardous materials in
the manufacture of various types of electronic and electrical equipment.
Lighting World is the sole
distributor for LUXRAM in Zimbabwe. Originally established in the UK in 1945.
Luxram now supplies under its Brand over 45 countries worldwide. With the need
to reduce on power consumption and to promote energy saving Lighting World
carries a wide range of energy saving bulbs.
