About

Welcome to McPherson Optometry. We are a family run opticians in Aberdeen founded in 1960 by Charles McPherson. Sons Stephen and Malcolm now run the practice. In 2003 their sister, Fiona Florence joined the practice looking after the accounts and now also works in the office.

Following extensive refurbishment in 2011, the practice boasts the latest technology to maintain and improve eye health. Including high-tech equipment, collectively dealing with ultra-thin lightweight spectacles through to complex contact lenses and treatments for eye problems.

We believe that an independent practice has a responsibility for each and every one of the patients we see and that we treat everyone as we would like to be treated ourselves; this comes from the practice beginnings. We are proud to be a family business with our history going back 60 years and two generations of opticians.
