A member of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) and and Equal Housing Lender, PRVB has consistently received top ratings in recent years from renowned financial analysts such as Sheshunoff Information Services, Inc. and Bauer Financial Reports, Inc.PRVB increased its financial resources from 2.8 million in 1978 to over 28 million in 1995. Today, PRVB also has a branch in Durango and assets have exceeded $160 million. While La Plata County continues to grow and diversify, PRVB has pledged to grow along with it, offering even more support and personal assistance to our friends and neighbors.The Present:In 1995, PRVB in Bayfield constructed a new Bank facility on North Commerce Drive, where the Bayfield bank is currently located. PRVB was the first and only bank to serve both communities of Bayfield and Durango. In February 2005, PRVB opened a branch in Durango at 1701 Main Ave. In 2007, PRVB merged with our two branches in Lake City and Creede, Colorado. These are operated using the name rooted in their area's history, Miners & Merchants Bank, and are located in their respective downtown locations
