Anchorage Guest House Our Guest House is set in the heart of Port Erin, close to all amenities ,but over looking a small park, so in a quiet setting. We overlook across the park, the Victorian Steam railway which is open from March to the end of October. A short walk away is the harbour where you can take a trip on a boat to the small bird sanctury island called the Calf of Man, trips available weather/tide permitting from Easter to late Autumn. You can see puffins, seals, and maybe even basking sharks on this trip if you are lucky. Port Erin Port Erin was a sleepy fishing village years ago but like everywhere else this has changed due to a lack of fish but it still retains a lovely safe sandy beach which is ideal for children and also any watersports you wish to take part in. The water is very clear so diving is popular with a water sport shop approx 100yards from here. Port Erin has a half hour bus service to the rest of the island, many nice places to eat, shops, a small theatre, library, tennis courts, 18 hole golf course, crazy golf, skate board park, play park, and Railway museum
