ABOUT THE PRODUCTS
Most of our plant-derived items are created in the more northerly regions of Spain from Cataluñan and also Navarra in the East to León and Asturias in the West, regions which delight in higher rainfall as well as less severe temperature levels. Navarra is deemed, deservedly, to be Spain's market yard, along with neighbouring La Rioja, extending the foothills of the Pyrenees and the productive valley of the River Ebro.
The majority of our pulses originate in León, a standard pulse generating region. To the East of Navarra, Cataluña shares the geographical benefits of Navarra although, already, the Ebro is heading south towards the Mediterranean where its delta proceeds its gastronomic thrills with its rice manufacturing.
Obviously, some products, such as olives, grow in the warm of the South.
