Welcome to Black and White Surfboards, the name originates from the colours of the Cornish flag. I'm Paul Waters owner/shaper. As a shaper I concentrate on affordable custom, bespoke surfboards. Boards for beginner/intermediate through to competition level. Boards made to suit the surfer, their experience, size, style, wave preference etc.
I shaped my first board in the late 70s a single fin Semi-gun for a road trip. Once the Twin fin's arrived I was hooked (Twins, Keels and quad's are one of my favourite boards to shape) During the last 25 years I have been fortunate to work with some of the worlds best shapers.
I'm lucky to have my own experience and been kept up to speed on performance shapes by the younger crew. (including my children from Mini longboards through to Performance shortboards) Like many of my customers I see their boards progress with their experience. Thanks also to Greg Norman for his work towards some great Comp longboards complimenting my N/Riders and Classics.
