About Us A warm and friendly welcome awaits you in Margate at this personally run Guest House overlooking the Sandy Beach. It is a Grade II listed building, refurbished to include full en-suite facilities (2 single rooms have private facilities.) All rooms have a fridge, phone, hospitality tray, radio / cd / cassette player, colour TV (including freeview box)/DVD player, use of iron, ironing board and hair dryer. I also have a licensed bar and a sun trap patio. Some rooms are available to smokers. Facilities When you stay in my home it is hoped that every need is catered for, to give you a homely stay. Babies, children and adults are all welcome, but regrettably it is not suitable for persons who have difficulties with stairs as it is a 5 storey building that does not have a lift. There are no time restrictions on guests as every room has keys to access the house at all times. Open all year round. The rooms are different sizes and can accommodate single, double, twin, triple or families / friends of up to 5 adults or 7 persons if including children. NEW FOR 2009 SEASON Internet socket in every bedroom. Ask Sue to be connected, dont worry if you do not have suitable cable for connection, I can loan you one. Cost is just £1.00 per 24 hours (10am-10am). Cable is free, but returnable deposit will be required. attractions Kent is known as the garden of England, it has many golf courses and is therefore ideal for a golfing holiday as well as seaside family holiday. Why not have a short break to go to the Winter Gardens, Theatre Royal or a night at the Casino. Local attractions and places of interest include, Margate Beach (Kite festival, Volleyball comps, motorbike comps), Shell Grotto and Museum , Canterbury, Howletts Zoo, Broadstairs for Dickens Country and Folk Week.
