The Birmingham England Temple was announced in April 2022 by President Russell M. Nelson as the 3rd temple in the United Kingdom. A groundbreaking ceremony was held on 22 March 2025. An open house and dedication date have not yet been announced. Plans call for a single-story structure of roughly 18,000 square feet, along with patron housing and arrival facilities.
