L&M Plastering recently completed a job in Selly Oak Birmingham. The customer previously had a lead from their bathroom on the first floor which caused water damage and slight sagging in the
ceiling below. The ceiling was painted in a Santex finish which was not of the customers choosing.
We recommended that the whole lounge ceiling should be re-boarded with 12.5mm plasterboard/fixed up with 60mm dry wall screws and joints taped with scrim tape. This was then skimmed/plastered to give a smooth finish needing minimal paint work required once dried.

The furniture was removed where possible and all areas were covered by dust sheets for protection and little disruption was caused by the work that was carried out. The customer was extremely happy with the work completed which is guaranteed.
