Founded by Rhiannon Cooper in 2024, the active autist is designed to empower neurodivergent individuals and those with anxiety to confidently start their fitness journey and embrace the gym. Rhiannon has lost over 100lbs of body weight simply by following a calorie deficit nutrition plan and increasing the amount of exercise she does. This started out as home workouts in order to build confidence and now Rhiannon confidently enjoys the gym most days. As a late diagnosed autistic female with ADHD, there have been many challenges in this journey and the active autist is a resource for others navigating the same barriers to inclusive fitness. Rhiannon is now completing her personal training qualifications to offer in person services.
