Dance@Central is a brand new dance studio that started its operations on September 1st 2012. Never has a dance studio ever been so centralized like this studio for it lies in the heart of central. The studio sign is bright and well seen when you walk past entertainment building alongside D'Aguilars Street going towards Lan Kwai Fong. You can find our quarters exactly at No.6 Stanley Street, Eurasia Building 3rd Floor, Central, Hong Kong
With a dance room of 900 square feet that easily holds a capacity of 20 to 25 people, its aesthetics and conditioning makes it a welcoming experience. Moreover, the dance studio comes with professional sound systems equipped with a microphone, a projector and mirrors on both sides of the room. In addition, we have two functional toilets decorated with chandeliers and spotlights. Furthermore, the studio is well organized and excellent for learning, dancing, organizing a party, events and workshops.
As Dance@Central is currently up and running its own regular dance classes, it's the excellent place for any Expats who work and live around Central and is looking for a nice, clean, comfortable place to dance and to enjoy the quality teaching of the instructor. All classes are taught in English for the convenience of the customer.
Dance@Central offers one of the best dance instructors in Hong Kong. Classes are taught by Joviene San, a very versatile, popular, experienced, professional dancer and choreographer in Hong Kong. She was awarded by the Hong Kong Arts Development Council and Hong Kong Art Centre for her efforts in producing dance performances in theaters around Hong Kong. Joviene runs Hip Hop dance classes every Tuesday and Saturday, Contemporary dance classes every Friday, with an addition of Lyrical Jazz and Jazz Funk. But she is able to offer more, she has earned excellent reviews due to her wedding classes and private classes which customers are able to acquire by booking her.
Furthermore, for those who fancy partnering work and is crazy about Mediterranean culture. Dance@Central offer Salsa dance classes every Monday, Wednesday and Sunday with additions of Kizomba, Mambo, Bachata and Zouk-Lambada. With Joseph Ennin, the legend of Salsa in Asia, as the key teacher. His teaching style is calm yet informative, guaranteed to provide you with the best of salsa from his rich experience in its culture. On weekends, Dance@Central offers classes to children, which includes Jazz, Ballet and Hip Hip.
