Educand is a team of dedicated, hardworking and reliable tutors who place learning above everything else. Formed in 2018 as a response to the growing need for non-traditional approaches to education that promote self-discovery, knowledge construction and independent learning, which are beneficial to students who want to exercise their flexibility and options on what to learn.
Our tutors employ the best pedagogical methods via our safe and secure interactive virtual learning environment. Our modules are created in a friendly and engaging manner to capture the student’s interest. We cultivate the passion of understanding the world around us, giving us more motivation to teach.
Educand uses technology to overcome the limitations of traditional methods of education by bringing together high caliber tutors and the students who need them regardless of their location. Our platform belongs to a community of highly skilled tutors who are passionate about education, and who are supported by parents who seek a better education for their children in an ever increasingly competitive academic environment.
We are passionate about education and donate 2.5% of our yearly profit towards the education of an orphan. We also encourage all our tutors to donate an hour of every 20 hours spent, to the tutoring to those from disadvantaged backgrounds.
